Lot#09_Gardening Stool

A unique compostable seating for plant care.

This 3D printed stool is the result of a research collaboration between ecoLogicStudio and the Synthetic Landscape Lab at Innsbruck University.

The inherent flexibility of compostable biopolymer is enhanced by the unique pleated morphology of the stool's side wall. Like the stem of a plant, it can flex and adapt locally to the user's body and weight while resisting to its vertical load.

The Stool comes in a natural cream colour and is 3d printed with a bespoke compound of flexible PLA/PHB biodegradable and compostable filament.
